Cru football to host summer skills camp
Assistant Coach Jeff Shinn will lead the camp
Camp open to students entering grades 6-12
Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football team will host a summer skills camp for students in grades 6-12 this summer. Each camp will be a one-day camp and will be led by UMHB assistant coach Jeff Shinn and a staff of current Cru players and coaches. There are two sessions for each age group.
            The Junior High Camp is for students entering grades 6-8 in the fall of 2010. The cost of the camp is $40 and the registration deadline is June 4th.

            The High School Camp is for students entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2010. The cost of the high school camp is also $40 and the registration deadline is June 4th.

            The Junior High Camp will be held Thursday, June 10th with a second session available on 
Saturday, June 12th. The Junior High Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM with check-in running from 8:00 to 9:00 AM each day.

            The High School Camp will also be held Thursday, June 10th with a second session available on Saturday, June 12th. The High School camp runs from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with check-in running from 3:00 to 4:00 PM each day.

Men's Basketball
Thomas hit a pair of clutch free throws with 2.1 seconds left in overtime to give the Cru a 75-73 victory over Hardin-Simmons last week. He averaged 13.0 points per game and added a season-high 15 points to keep UMHB in the game in a narrow 75-71 loss to McMurry University.
Miranda Shorter
Women's Basketball
Miranda averaged 9.5 points per game over two contests last weekend. She is one of just three seniors on this year's team. Miranda has started 16 of the Cru's 17 games and she currently ranks third on the team in scoring.
