The Cru falls to 2-16 overall and 1-13 in American Southwest Conference play with the loss. Howard Payne improves to 16-2 overall and 12-2 in the ASC with the victory.

Belton, Texas--The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor announced today that Turner Construction Company has been hired to build the new football stadium and student union building planned for the Belton campus. Turner will construct the 8,000-10,000 capacity stadium simultaneously with the student union building, which will anchor the visitors' side of the stadium.

Abilene, TX— The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's basketball team mounted a furious second-half comeback for the second straight game, but this time the rally fell just short in a 75-71 loss to McMurry University Saturday afternoon in Abilene. The 6th-ranked Cru falls to 16-1 overall and 12-1 in American Southwest Conference play with the loss. The season-opening, 16-game winning streak for UMHB is the second longest winning streak in the history of the Cru men's basketball program.
