Belton, TX – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor running back Quincy Daniels will return for another season with the Cru football team in 2010 the senior from Belton announced on Friday. Daniels will graduate in May, but he has one more year of eligibility remaining after receiving a medical hardship after a knee injury cost him the final 12 games of the 2008 season. Daniels will enroll in graduate school at UMHB and begin work on his Master’s Degree this fall and return for one more season with the Cru.

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football team finished the year ranked in the top ten in the country in both major national polls. UMHB was ranked in the top seven in the country by both the American Football Coaches Association and D3football.com.

Belton, TX – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor defensive back Bryson Tucker has been named to the Associated Press Little All-America Team. Tucker was a Third Team Little All-America selection on a team that honors NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA players.

Belton, TX – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor defensive back Bryson Tucker (Sr., Caldwell HS) has been named to the American Football Coaches Association’s Division III All-American Team released today. Tucker earns AFCA All-American honors for the first time in his career and he becomes the sixth Cru player to earn a spot on the AFCA All-American Team. UMHB has now had a player selected to this prestigious team eight times in the last nine seasons.

Belton, TX – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s soccer player Daniel Green has been voted American Southwest Conference Men’s Soccer Distinguished Scholar-Athlete for his accomplishments on the field and in the classroom. UMHB also placed three other student-athletes on the 2009 ASC Fall Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Teams.
