Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s soccer team will host a Spring Break camp for boys and girls ages 12 and under. The UMHB men will also hold a free one-day soccer camp as a community service project. Both of the camps will be led by UMHB men’s soccer coach Brad Bankhead and a staff of Cru soccer players and all of the sessions will be held at the Cru Soccer Complex on the UMHB campus.

Belton, TX – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s soccer player Daniel Green has been voted to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s (NSCAA) All-West Region Team. Green, a First Team All-West Region selection, is the only American Southwest Conference player named to the West Region First Team.

Belton, TX – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s soccer player Daniel Green has been voted American Southwest Conference Men’s Soccer Distinguished Scholar-Athlete for his accomplishments on the field and in the classroom. RICHARDSON, Texas –– Concordia University Texas, East Texas Baptist University, Hardin-Simmons University, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Mississippi College and the University of Texas at Dallas are all winners of American Southwest Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Team Sportsmanship Awards for 2009 fall sports, the conference office announced on Tuesday (Dec. 8).

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s soccer team placed five players on the American Southwest Conference Fall Academic All-Conference Team released today. To be eligible for the ASC Academic All-Conference Teams, a player must be a sophomore, junior or senior, earn a letter and maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.

Bo Baker
Men's Soccer
Bo scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the Cru's 2-1 season opening victory over Trinity University. UMHB's win snapped the Tigers 52-match regular season home winning streak. He then scored the Cru's only goal in a 2-1 loss at Southwestern University.
Tina Miller
Women's Volleyball
Christina had 23 kills over four matches this past weekend at the U.T.-Tyler Tournament. She led the Cru in kills in three of those matches, including a three-set victory over Jarvis Christian that gave UMHB its first victory of the season.
