Belton, TX- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team placed ten players on the American Southwest Conference Spring All-Conference Team, released today. To be eligible for the ASC Academic All-Conference Team, a player must be a sophomore, junior or senior and have attended the school for a full year. The student-athlete must also earn a letter and maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.

Belton, TX - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team placed a total of eight players on the American Southwest Conference All-West Division Teams released today. UMHB had three First Team All-West selections, two Second Team All-West picks and three Honorable Mention All-West choices.

Clinton, MS - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team could not overcome Mississippi College's eight-run second inning and the Cru fell to the Choctaws 14-4 in an elimination game in the First Round of the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament Saturday afternoon in Clinton, Mississippi. UMHB finishes the season with a 22-17 record after being swept out of the ASC Tournament in the first round by the Choctaws for the second straight season. Mississippi College improves to 28-14 on the year and the Choctaws will play host to the Second Round of the ASC Tournament next weekend.

Clinton, MS - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team battled back to tie the game in the top of the ninth, only to see the Mississippi College Choctaws win the game with a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 3-2 loss in game one of a First Round series in the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament. The loss drops UMHB to 22-16 on the season. The Choctaws improve to 27-14 on the year with the victory.

Bryson Tucker
Football
Bryson ran for a career-high 218 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 24 carries in his first action of the season at running back in UMHB's 21-0 victory over Southern Oregon University. He scored one of those touchdowns on a career-long 90-yard run. The 218 yards are the fourth-best single-game total in school history and the 90-yard run is the third longest in school history.

Women's Soccer
Lexy is ASC Co-Offensive Player of the Week for this week. She posted her first hat trick of the season in an 8-0 victory over McMurry University last weekend. That victory clinched an ASC Championship Tournament berth for the UMHB women. The hat trick was just the fourth of the season in ASC Women's Soccer this year.
