Belton, TX—The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will host a summer Co-Ed soccer camps for children ages 5 and up under the direction of UMHB head women’s soccer coach Meghann Brown this summer. A staff of collegiate soccer players and area high school coaches will assist Coach Brown during the camp. The camp will be broken into two age groups with instruction geared to each specific group.
The Cru Co-Ed Soccer Camp will emphasize basic skills used in the sport, structure of the game of soccer and its techniques. During the week, players will receive detailed instruction in a challenging, unique environment that promises to be a rewarding soccer experience. There will also be a goalkeeper camp held during the same time, focusing on the skills necessary for that position.

The cost of the younger age group camp session is $85 per student with the older group costing $145 per student. Students will need to bring shorts, a t-shirt, soccer boots, tennis shoes, shin guards, socks, a light lunch, snacks and sunscreen. Registration forms are available in the UMHB athletic office. For more information, please call Coach Meghann Brown at (254) 295-4215.
