Will Summers has been named American Southwest Conference West Division Player of the Week for the week ending April 9
th. Summers, a senior from Belton High School, claims West Division Player of the Week honors for the second straight week.
Summers posted straight set victories at #1 singles for the Cru in dual match victories over Sul Ross State and Howard Payne University. He also teamed with
Collin Davies for a pair of wins at #1 doubles. The two team victories helped keep the UMHB men undefeated in ASC West Division play on the spring.
The UMHB men will return to action with a pair of road matches this weekend. The Cru will face Texas Lutheran in a crucial ASC West showdown Friday in Seguin before closing out the weekend with a match at Schreiner University in Kerrville on Saturday.
