Men's Basketball drops to 10th in D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's basketball team dropped four spots to #10 in the country in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll after suffering its first loss of the season over the weekend. The UMHB men totaled 403 points to fall from sixth to temth in the poll this week. Middlebury continues to hold down the #1 spot with 24 first-place votes and 623 total points. The UMHB men were one of just four remaining unbeatens in the country heading into last weekend and three of those four teams suffered their first loss of the year. The Cru is the only American Southwest Conference program mentioned in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll.

The Cru is currently 16-1 overall and has an 12-1 mark in ASC play this season. UMHB lost its first game of the season in a 75-71 defeat at McMurry University last Saturday. The Cru's 16-game, season-opening winning streak was the second-longest in the history of the UMHB men's basketball program. The Cru will return to action with home games against Howard Payne University and Sul Ross State University this week.

The D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors and media members from across the country. The UMHB men have been ranked in every D3hoops.com poll this season.
