Belton, TX – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's basketball player Lindsay Eaton has been named American Southwest Conference West Division Player of the Week for the week ending February 7th. Eaton, a junior forward from Lake Travis High School, takes ASC West Division Player of the Week honors for the second straight week. She averaged 22.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in leading the UMHB women to pair of crucial ASC West Division wins last week. Eaton opened the week with a 17-point, seven-rebound performance in the Cru's 74-60 win over McMurry. She followed with a season-high 27 points and also grabbed five rebounds in an 82-70 win over Hardin-Simmons. Eaton had four assists in each game and also totaled three steals and a blocked shot as the UMHB women stretched their winning streak to 13 consecutive games.
The Cru women are now 17-4 overall and 14-3 in ASC play on the season. The UMHB women will play the regular season home finale this Thursday when Texas Lutheran comes to the Mayborn Campus Center for a 5:30 PM tip-off. The Cru has a one-game lead over Howard Payne University for first place in the ASC West Division.
