Teams will help raise money for breast cancer research
Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball and women’s basketball teams will both be participating in Pink Zone activities this week to help raise awareness of breast cancer and the research into the disease.
Cru baseball and women’s basketball players will be selling Cru Pink Zone t-shirts all week in the Student Union Building and on the first floor of Hardy Hall from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM each day. The shirts are $10 apiece. There will also be tribute cards for sale where people can purchase tributes in honor of or in memory of those affected by breast cancer. The tribute cards cost $1 apiece.

The Cru baseball team will wear pink jerseys in honor of the event when the team hosts Trinity University for a 2:00 PM single game on Tuesday afternoon. The Cru women will wear pink uniforms for the regular season home finale against Texas Lutheran University on Thursday evening at 5:30 PM. T-shirts will also be available for purchase at both of those home games.

All of the proceeds from this week’s events will benefit the Kay Yow Foundation for breast cancer research.
