“When adversity hits, you can really tell a lot about the character and resiliency of a football team,” Cru head coach Pete Fredenburg said. “We really responded to a major challenge this past week and that's something we will need to continue to do for the rest of this season.”

UMHB is 6-1 overall and 4-1 in ASC play following last Saturday's victory over SOU. The Cru will now return to ASC play and will host East Texas Baptist University (2-6, 2-4 ASC) for a 1:00 PM kickoff this Saturday at Tiger Field.
